Weather in the Santa Ana Mountains can be unpredictable but most often produces very pleasant running weather in the winter months. Occassionally it CAN get cold (record low around 26) and snow at the higher elevations and occasionally it CAN get into the 80 degree range (record high is 88). You can see the variety of temperatures along the course via the two weather stations below. Average temps on race day are high around 70 and low around 43. Average February rainfall is around 4". Over the past 4 years, only 1 year saw measurable rain during the middle of February (1-2")
